The Real Car: 21 Wins from 22
Developed under chief technical officer Adrian Newey and technical director Pierre Waché, the RB19 refined Red Bull's understanding of the ground-effect regulations introduced in 2022. Powered by the Honda RBPT hybrid power unit, it was exceptionally efficient on straights and stable through high-speed corners.
The numbers are historic: 21 wins from 22 Grands Prix. Max Verstappen won a record 19 races — including a record 10 consecutive victories — and secured his third world title in Qatar. Sergio Pérez won in Saudi Arabia and Azerbaijan. The only race the team did not win was Singapore, taken by Carlos Sainz for Ferrari.
The Model Options
Minichamps 1:18 — the centrepiece
Minichamps' 1:18 diecast RB19 offers the presence and detail serious collectors want, at a size of roughly 31 cm — modern F1 cars are long, so plan shelf space accordingly. Race-winner versions, sometimes with specific liveries or markings for individual events, are the most collected.
Mini GT 1:64 — the pocket champion
Mini GT's 1:64 RB19 brings surprising detail to a car around 9 cm long, at an indicative £15–£30. It is a smart way to own the car without committing a large display.
Bburago 1:43 — the entry point
Bburago's Formula Racing line offers an RB19 at an indicative £10–£25. It is a toy-grade diecast rather than a collector-grade replica, but perfect for younger fans or first-time collectors.
What to Check Before Buying

- Options at every budget
- Many race-specific versions
Watch Out For
- Large footprint at 1:18

- Confirm the chassis year: RB18 (2022), RB19 (2023) and RB20 (2024) look similar to the untrained eye.
- Identify the race: special one-off liveries and milestone wins tend to attract more demand.
- Check the halo and front wing for stress marks from shipping.
- Keep all packaging; modern collectors expect complete boxes on resale.
Value Considerations
Our indicative range for the Minichamps 1:18 is £150–£220, close to typical retail for recent releases. As a recent car, long-term value will depend on how its legacy is viewed and on production quantities, so buy primarily for enjoyment.
Indicative only: values depend on condition, production quantity, packaging and market demand, and should be verified before any transaction.
